Winter Solstice approaches

descending deeply
touching the feminine mystery
resting and communing
in the darkness
longest darkest night

the deeper we go inside
the more we can dance freely
in a new cycle when the sun returns
and the light half of the year begins once again to make
its presence known
it will grow until Summer Solstice
when the beautiful darkness will grow strong
until Winter Solstice
