The Tarot is a Valuable Ancient Tool for Use in the Modern World
This is a note about a new Tarot Class beginning February 1st.
The Tarot is a unique system of symbols that can assist you in connecting more deeply with yourself. This connection is similar to being in a dream state while awake.
This beginning class works well for people who have never worked with the Tarot as well as those who wish to deepen their relationship with the cards.
The belief system of the Tarot is one that includes Transformation and Cyclic Change. Carl Jung, the renowned psychologist, worked extensively with archetypes and felt the major arcana depicts the Soul's journey through life.
Tarot can be learned quickly and with surprising ease.
You don't even need to believe in the cards. All that's required is an openness: be willing to familiarize yourself with the images, as well as to relax and trust your intuitions.
The Tarot Class is taught at a beautiful home in Santa Monica by Laurel Kahaner.
Laurel explores the subconscious though many vehicles including tarot, astrology,writing, yoga, meditation and art. Her focus is on the tarot as a self-healing tool to assist people in connecting with their inner wisdom through symbolism and archetypes. The cards enhance ones life in many ways: spiritually, psychologically, emotionally and creatively.
Four week Beginning Tarot Class starting Thursday Feb 1 at 7:30pm
This class meets once a week for four weeks from 7:30 - 9:30pm. You will be able to read for yourself and anyone else when class is complete.
The cost is 175.00 for the four classes. a deposit is required to hold your place.
We are only taking eight people.
