The Moon is a High Priestess

Let yourself remember what it felt like the first time you realized the sky
Is infinite. There is no end. It goes on and on, as do we.

Let yourself remember the first time you realized you are intimately and personally in relationship to this great mystery.

Everything is connected. The invisible connections are as powerful as the visible ones. This particular life is breath and brief, not matter how long we live.

Many of us have found profound enrichment, nourishment and guidance in the Lunar Cycle. In aligning ourselves and our lives with the phases of the moon.

Imagine long ago. Only the moon to light our way. She is new and there is light. We set a clear intention. Now she is at first quarter and we feel challenged. Have we stayed true to our intention? Now the moon is full. We can see much. Now she grows smaller. What to do. Now she is gone. It is dark. We are lost. We are quiet. We wait. She returns. We begin again. After we experience this a few times we realize she does return again. She has phases. As do we. As does life. What we pay attention to pays attention to us. What we honor honors us.

Here I will offer a sense of what the moon is asking and offering.
What she demands and evokes, her gifts and blessings.

The Lunar Cycle is an amazing way to align ourselves with the
Cycles of life. Everything is a cycle, a spiral. Everything moves
And within the containing, or not so containing cycles and circles
We create the mandala of our life. The way we center ourselves as
We move ever deeper into embracing the potential of who we are.

We are born at a moment in the evolution in the cosmos.
We are responsible for evolving that moment. For doing our
Personal alchemy on the mandala/sky map/birth chart that has been
Our dharma since the first breath we took. It will be ours until the
Last breath we take. How deeply are we breathing into our relationship
With the great mystery now. As above so below. As within so without.
Working with the lunar cycle is an ancient and thoroughly modern way
To honor, align and blessedly learn and enjoy the journey.

The Lunar Cycle begins with the new moon.
This is the most auspicious time for intention.
Clear intention.
Planting the seeds that you will nourish, tend, and bring into being during the cycle.

New Moon – New Beginnings
Intention

First Quarter Moon – A challenge to the Intention

Full Moon –illumination on what is unfolding with your intention

Last Quarter Moon – Another challenge and a sense of beginning to complete this cycle. To see what has come into being and what might need to be woven into your intention for the next cycle.

Stirred but not entirely shaken

The Dare

Have your protagonist work for an Alchemist who has never been alive and has a strong desire for the best wine.Have the protagonist be someone who doesn't drink and yet is absolutely consumed with desire to learn what this Alchemist offers

.have the protagonist be dating someone who likes wine alot and after the third glass begins to speak in Alchemical Recipes.have the third alchemical recipe each night hold the key to something that has to do with "separating the subtle from the dense sweetly with great ingenuity."from Emerald Tablet

blessings to Mercurious
